KUALA LUMPUR: Comedian and action hero Zizan Razak has been wowed by the newly-decorated motorcycle of a close friend.
The Yamaha bike of Zizan’s Abang Long Fadil 2 co-star Shuib Muhamad, who is also the husband of songstress Siti Sarah Raissuddin, was nicely “dolled up” for Father’s Day last Sunday, and Zizan who saw it on the couple’s YouTube channel remarked that it looked “just like a Merdeka Parade bike”.
"Wow, Shuib, I think it makes a perfect Merdeka Parade bike!" said Zizan.
“You can easily join the National Day bikers’ convoy with it this year!” he added.
Yesterday, Shuib featured the video on his Instagram account, and it highlighted Sarah's creativity in decorating his Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle to mark Father's Day.
The brief video titled Asalkan Kau Bahagia (As Long As You're Happy) saw Sarah introducing Shuib to his newly-decorated motorcycle, and his delight upon discovering its "amazing makeover".
She wanted to give him a Father’s Day surprise and decorated his motorcycle with colourful and shiny artificial flowers.
The end result of her two-hour long makeover was a glamorous bike that resembled the motorcycles which were often featured in National Day parades.
Sarah covered Shuib's eyes as she took him outdoors to their apartments' car park, and surprised him with his bike's new look.
"Fantastic, Sarah! It's beautiful," he said, before taking her on a spin around the neighbourhood on the decorated vehicle.
"My idea is to make it ‘ganas’, robotic and diva-ish at the same time," said Sarah.
The posting garnered a stream of comments from fans and followers, with many were also tickled by Zizan’s remarks.
Gilbert said: "Fantastic gift for hubby dearest. Well done, Sarah!
“And yes, it’s fit for a Merdeka Parade as Zizan said.”
“I'd love to have this decoration for my hubby's bike," said Norfara.
"It's so cool, Sarah. You're a superb designer and superb singer. Great job!" said Nabila, who described Zizan’s remarks as spot-on.
Shuib and Sarah, both 34, have been married for eight years and have three children.
