KUALA LUMPUR: The Hong Kong media is not giving actress Jacqueline Wong a break, now that she has “escaped” to the United States.
Entertainment portal Jayne Stars reported on June 28 that Wong is said to have been begging her ex-boyfriend Kenneth Ma to visit her in Los Angeles as her “emotions are reportedly unstable”.
It is also rumoured that Ma, 45, may pay Wong a visit since he will be taking a month-long holiday once he completes filming The Exorcist’s Meter 2, a horror flick.
Some news reports have also stated that Ma has been unable to “let go” of Wong despite of her affair with singer-actor Andy Hui last April.
In fact, he willingly answered questions about her during a recent media interview.
When the media asked Ma about keeping in touch with Wong during the promotion of his TVB drama Big White Duel, he said: “It’s been so long already, are we still talking about it?”
Ma neither confirmed nor denied rumours about being in touch with Wong.
He added that he would “leave his love life to fate”.
On May 10, it was reported that Wong, 30, had been dropped from several television projects due to her scandal with Hui.
Hong Kong television station TVB announced that it would reshoot and recast Wong’s roles in the drama series Forensic Heroes IV.
Wong’s appearance in the cookery show Men’s Kitchen, which was filmed in George Town, Penang, was reshot with a new celebrity guest.
Wong and Hui, 51, were caught kissing at the back of a taxi in a video which went viral.
Hui is married to singer-actress Sammi Cheng.
