#Showbiz: Xiumin shows up to support Exo concert, trends worldwide on Twitter

KUALA LUMPUR: Exo member Xiumin, who is currently completing his mandatory military service, showed his loyalty by turning up as an audience member at an Exo concert.

According to Soompi, the idol was spotted in the audience, together with Super Junior’s Donghae and Choi Siwon, at last night’s Exo Planet #5 - Exploration concert.

It was the popular K-Pop group’s last day of its fifth solo concert tour and was held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.

When the 29-year-old idol, whose real name is Kim Min-seok, appeared on the jumbo screen he apparently stood up and cheered along before giving a military salute and later bowing respectfully to the applauding fans.

The other Exo members onstage were incredibly delighted to see him as well. Chanyeol said: “Thank you for working hard to protect our country.” Kai chimed in with: “We worked hard so that we could look cool in front of Minseok hyung!”

When Suho added, “It's too bad that D.O. and Lay couldn't be with us today but Xiumin, Minseok is with us today, right?”, Xiumin quickly flashed a heart sign with his hands.

Suho then said, “Everyone, you already know right, that Exo is always here”, as he pointed to his heart.

Fans were obviously thrilled by Xiumin’s presence and took to social media to express their happiness.

Exo’s concert peaked at No. 1 on Twitter’s list of trending worldwide topics with the hashtag EXplOration in Seoul Day 6, while Minseok made it to the No. 3 spot as well.

The nine-member music outfit performed its six concerts in Seoul with only six members since Xiumin and D.O. are currently serving in the military while Lay did not participate.
