#Showbiz: BTS' V sells out charity product!

KUALA LUMPUR: The boys of international K-Pop group BTS certainly have a keen eye for fashion. But even though fresh-faced member V is partial to luxury labels like Gucci or Chanel, the idol also supports independent artists and homegrown brands.

According to Koreaboo, the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, has sported accessories from Korean company Ccnmade which has been producing handmade bracelets since 1993.

The various bracelets that accessorise his outfits have been spotted even on high profile photoshoots such as for the Naver x Dispatch Billboard Music Awards event in Las Vegas and BTS’ 2019 White Day do.

Sales of the Ccnmade products are channeled toward helping children with heart disease as well as cats and dogs in need.

Recently, Ccnmade announced online that its whole inventory had run dry, due to the high volume of orders. Because of that, the company could no longer accept new orders until the bracelets’ gemstones were back in stock.

Meanwhile, another BTS member had recently broken a new record. Koreaboo reported that Jungkook’s Duh cover of Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy on Twitter has become the most-liked tweet of 2019.

It has also become the third most-liked tweet of all time, after 2017 tweets by Barack Obama, at the No. 1 spot, and Ariana Grande at No. 2.

Obama’s tweet was, “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin or his background or his religion,” while Grande wrote, “Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.”

The fourth and fifth spots were taken by Ellen DeGeneres and PewDiePie’s tweets respectively.
