#Showbiz: HK's Julian Cheung, Bosco Wong in Malaysia to film 'The Impossible 3'

KUALA LUMPUR: More than a dozen Hong Kong actors are in town to film a web drama, The Impossible 3.

Asia One reported yesterday that the action comedy was about three strangers who got stuck in an emergency situation, and learnt to overcome their differences to deal with the crisis.

The main characters in the adventure are a fiction writer portrayed by Julian Cheung, a stuntman portrayed by Bosco Wong and a tour guide portrayed by Chrissie Chau.

While attempting to resolve their problems, the three find themselves pursued by the police and triads. Worse, they have to deal with a foul-mouthed mobster played by Michael Wong, a bartender played by Moses Chan and a hustler played by Vincent Wong.

Cheung said that they had several scenes in the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, Subang Jaya.

“We had lots of exciting action in the form of fist fights, gun battles, car chases, and even the use of a helicopter, but none in the water.

“But more importantly, the helicopter was courtesy of Bosco's friend. It's great having him around," he said.

Meanwhile, Wong admitted that he became the cast's "tour guide", as he has good knowledge of interesting places in Malaysia, especially the Klang Valley.

“Basically, I'm the 'food and beverage department chief' as well as the executive producer," he said.

Other members of the cast include HKTVB actors Samantha Ko, James Ng and Mark Ma.

Malaysian actress Jovane Phang, who is also winner of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2018, also stars in the six-episode comedy which will be released in the second half of next year.
