#Showbiz: Police reveal updates regarding Goo Hara's memo, CCTV analysis

KUALA LUMPUR: The Seoul Police Department has found a handwritten memo at the home of Goo Hara who was found dead in her home in southern Seoul, yesterday.

According to Koreaboo, police officials said that the memo revealed negative thoughts about the 28-year-old former member of K-Pop girl group Kara, herself.

“The note was very short and found on the living room table.

“The housekeeper found Goo passed away at her house yesterday. After on-site investigation and testimonies from family and friends, it seems that there are no criminal charges currently.”

It is believed that the housekeeper, known to have a close relationship with Goo, had tried to contact Goo and when she could not reach the star, she went to the house to check on her.

In regard to the CCTV analysis, the police officials stated: “After taking a look at the CCTV footage, it shows that Goo returned home on Nov 24 at 12:35 AM. No one else has visited the house since then.”

They are currently talking with the family members as to whether or not they will be conducting an autopsy.

After Kara, Goo made a name as a solo artiste in 2015 with the release of her EP Alohara (Can You Feel It?). She had also appeared in television dramas including City Hunter (2011).

Goo had spoken out against cyber bullying. In June, a month after she was found unconscious at her home and hospitalised, she said it was difficult to overcome depression and pleaded for positive comment on social media.
