KUALA LUMPUR: Mark your calendars and get ready for a new Ejen Ali mission! Primeworks Studios and WAU Animation have teamed up for Ejen Ali: Misi Ejen Rush, a 5km Fun Run & Obstacle Challenge, happening at The West Garden, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya on Sunday.
Held as part of the promotional activities for Ejen Ali The Movie which will hit cinemas tomorrow, the fun run will begin at 7am and ends at 11.30am.
Some 3,000 participants which will also include celebrities and social media influencers are expected to join the event.
A variety of exciting activities will be held at the main stage area at the mall’s West Entrance, where the starting and finishing point is also located.
Apart from a special performance by Bidadari singer Ismail Izzani, participants also stand a chance to win tickets to watch Ejen Ali The Movie at participating cinemas as well as Ejen Ali premium merchandise, during lucky draw sessions which will take place throughout the day.
Ejen Ali: Misi Ejen Rush will be an exceptionally-unique experience as it features four obstacle challenge courses, all based on MATA’s core pillars Kombat, Tekno, Inviso and Neuro.
Participants will be given an Ejen Race Kit that consists of an event T-shirt, a drawstring bag, a race bib, an e-certificate and a finisher medal at the end of the event.

Ejen Ali The Movie will be screened simultaneously in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. It tells of 12-year-old Ejen Ali who, after being accidentally recruited as a spy, has now grown to embrace his role in secret agency Meta Advance Tactical Agency (MATA) to protect the futuristic city of Cyberaya from outside threats.
Ali is surprised to discover that he is no longer the only master of the Infinity Retinal Intelligence System (IRIS) gadget, since MATA has now upgraded to IRIS Neo for all MATA agents.
When the new invention leads Ali to question his place and usefulness to MATA, he is approached by a rogue figure who claims to know about a surprising personal connection to Ali. Risking his loyalty to MATA, Ejen Ali embarks on a thrilling chase to unravel these mysterious links.
