KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and singer Nadia Aqilah is now the proud mother of her first child, a baby girl named Senja Aqila Saiful Ridzuan.
The 34-year-old actress who has starred in a variety of feature films, telemovies and theatre productions from Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical and Devoted to Motif, shared the good news on Instagram yesterday.
She revealed that her daughter was born on Dec 4, weighing 2.95kg and with a length of 51cm.
In a post, written from the baby’s point of view, she said: “Mama said she never knew how much pain a body can take. Mama said I was naughty for coming out three weeks early. But Mama also said when she first heard me cry, all the pain in the world had no meaning anymore, because Senja was the cure to all of it. I can’t wait to get to know my Baba & Mama. I heard they’re pretty cool together.”
Her post which has already garnered over 6,200 likes was naturally peppered with lots of congratulatory comments by well wishers.
Nadia and her husband Saiful Ridzuan (of popular local indie rock band Seven Collar T-Shirt fame) tied the knot on April 20 last year.
