KUALA LUMPUR: After more than a year of knowing each other, actress and TV host Elly Mazlein has finally tied the knot for the second time, this time with school teacher Mohamad Azlan Che Nuh.
The couple’s solemnisation which took place at Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) last Saturday witnessed the 29-year-old bridegroom presenting Elly, 39, with a RM1,800 gold bangle as dowry.
The marriage was solemnised by the bride’s father Syed Hanafi Syed Abdullah.
“I’m grateful that everything went smooth as planned. Do pray for our happiness,” said Elly in a recent news report.
Their solemnisation ceremony was attended by family and friends including celebrity buddies such as Rozita Che Wan, Fasha Sandha, Aidil Aziz, Uqasha Senrose, Emelda Rosmila and Catriona Ross.
Elly was previously married to TV drama director Azmi Hatta on Nov 9, 2014, before they called it quits in less than a year on Oct 15, 2015. They have a four-year-old daughter Putri Sara Sefhia.
