#Showbiz: Wak Doyok gives free shirts to frontliners following boutique closure

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor and social media personality Wak Doyok's Starvilion boutique in Section 7, Shah Alam closed today after three years.

To mark the occasion, the Abang Long Fadil 2 star has rewarded loyal customers, and brave frontliners who keep the country safe from Covid-19.

In an Instagram post today, the 41-year-old whose real name is Mohd Azwan Mohd Nor said that he was auctioning stock from the boutique for as low as RM1.

He also said that he was giving out 5,000 pairs of baju Melayu for frontliners, as a "thank you" for helping fight the coronavirus.

"I'm sad that Starvilion has to close due to trying times. I want to thank my 70 employees for doing a great job over the last three years.

"We are clearing our stocks, auctioning them for as low as RM1. And I'm giving out 5,000 pairs of baju Melayu for our brave frontliners.

"So frontliners, don't forger to bring your IDs."

Wak Doyok however said that it was "not the end" of his boutique as he had plans to open a new one with a different concept once the pandemic subsided.

Besides starring in Abang Long Fadil 2 in 2017, Wak Doyok has also hosted TV9 travelogue Ke Korea Ke Kita, starred in the ntv7 sitcom Small Mission Enterprise, and directed the short film Kayuh in 2015.
