KUALA LUMPUR: After much speculation about his marital status, actor Keith Foo finally revealed that his marriage to model Kim Raymond had ended for some time now.
The 37-year-old artiste said that they had not been living together for the past couple of years and had mutually decided on a divorce last year.
"We've been separated for two years already but we were officially divorced last year in December.
"Though we are no longer together, we still maintain a good relationship for the sake of our child, Skylar Raymond Foo," he said in a news report yesterday.
Foo added: "My daughter lives with her mother but I try my best to spend as much time as I can with her. When I'm on a break with no filming she will sleep over at my place," he said.
The star of Ariana Rose and Love You Mr Arrogant explained that the divorce was the best solution for them in order to prevent their relationship from deteriorating beyond repair.
"We separated amicably. Marriage cannot be forced. If it is forced without any real understanding between us, then I fear that worse things will happen," he said.
Foo added: "We've even gone for holidays together. The most important thing is for the child to know that her parents are well."
Foo and Raymond tied the knot in November 2015 and they were blessed with a daughter on May 30, 2017.
Meanwhile, the actor will appear in the telemovie, Kita Merdeka, which also stars Azlee Khairi, Elisya Sandha, Amy Mastura, Fadhlan Hazim and many more.
Kita Merdeka will air on Saturday on TV3 at 10pm.
