KUALA LUMPUR: When popular TV host Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, 31, donning the niqab made headlines last week, many fellow celebrities were pleasantly surprised and at awe over her self-transformation.
Actress Datin Seri Umie Aida, 46, took to Instagram to express her admiration towards Neelofa's "hijrah" by wearing the Islamic veil.
In a recent Insta-story, she revealed how she was moved to tears hearing Neelofa's life journey thus far.
"I was struggling to hold back tears hearing her beautiful and moving life experiences.
"Each time I meet her, I will always remind her how blessed she is to have experienced a beautiful journey," she said praising Neelofa for embracing niqab.
Also expressing her admiration for Neelofa's decision was Yatt Hamzah, 40, who also took to social media to wish Neelofa the best.
"She's such an inspiration," she wrote briefly.
