KUALA LUMPUR: Despite being offered a bungalow, a Ferrari, a cruise around the world and mountains of cash for her hand in marriage, singer-actress Dr Soo Wincci has turned her wealthy suitor down.
Soo, 35, in an Instagram post, revealed that a particular individual had been pursuing her for some time now.
In screenshots of their private message exchanges, the individual first teasingly asks if Soo would date him if he lost some weight, but later said that it was "a dream that will never come true."
Soo, who holds a doctorate degree in business management and is currently in Spain pursuing her studies in music, then wrote in jest too, saying that he should not waste his time and energy trying to woo her.
In another posting, Soo shared another message, from the same individual, this time promising her a luxurious life if she agreed to marry him – to which her response was short and candid: "Nope. I can earn (them) myself."
