KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nad Zainal has confirmed that she and Muhammad Faliq Amiruddin have divorced.
In a recent news report, the 32-year-old artiste said their seven-year-old marriage had recently ended amicably.
She however did not divulge details on the divorce.
"After much deliberation, we have decided to go our separate ways, but will remain friends for our children's sake," said the artiste whose full name is Farah Nadia Zainal Abidin.
Nad said she had to make her current status known so as to avoid unwarranted rumours in future.
Speculations were rife on social media when Muhammad Faliq's photos could no longer be seen on Nad's Instagram account.
Nad and Muhammad Faliq married on Dec 18, 2015. They have two children — Fahad Ibrahim, 6, dan Budi Kalsom, 1.
