KUALA LUMPUR: The elder sister of actress Emma Maembong, Shikin recently took to TikTok to reveal how lonely her life is as a second wife.
She let on that most times, she had to accept that she was left alone to tend to her eight-year-old daughter, Putri Arianna Natasya.
Putri Arianna Natasya is her daughter from her previous marriage to Chef Wan's son Mohd Nadzri Redzuawan or Chef Riz between 2014 and 2016.
"This is the reality of being a second wife. You go to the malls alone. You even celebrate your birthdays all by yourself.
"If you need company, there's the maid and your child," said the 39-year-old whose real name is Siti Nur Ashikin Ismail in a recent video on TikTok.
Shikin also said even when the first wife had given her husband consent to take another, the younger wife must always remember her place and respect the first wife.
