KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean actress Song Ji Hyo was in Malaysia recently and surprised fans during a meet-and-greet session when she interacted with a deaf fan.
According to Says.com, the 41-year-old artiste was approached by a woman who came to the event with her family.
Song greeted her cheerfully by using sign language and they communicated for a bit before the Running Man star greeted the woman's children and gave them warm hugs.
The smiling OKU fan was apparently very happy to have been able to interact with Song during the session.
Netizens were touched by Song's earnest efforts to speak to fans and make them feel at home regardless of their background and posted positive comments online.
The Korean star was in town for the Watsons K-Beauty Festa in Sentul Depot, here on March 17 and 18.
