KUALA LUMPUR: Actress-turned-entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor's elder sister Noor Nabila and businessman Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin ended their marriage with a single talak at 12.51pm today.
The couple were divorced at the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court off Jalan Duta here.
Nabila said that she accepted the court's decision with an open heart and was thankful that the divorce proceedings went smoothly.
"Thank God things went smoothly. This is God's will, please pray for better days for me and my loved ones," said Nabila in an interview with Harian Metro Online.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported me and prayed for me all this while."
Nabila, 39, and Engku Emran, 48, were married on March 19, 2021.
Nabila was previously married to actor Sharnaaz Ahmad from March 31, 2017 to July 9, 2020 and they have a 5-year-old son, Jebat Jayden.
Engku Emran was married to actress and singer Erra Fazira from 2007 to 2014 and they have a 12-year-old daughter, Engku Aleesya.
Engku Emran was subsequently married to Indonesian actress Laudya Cynthia Bella from 2017 to 2020.
