KUALA LUMPUR: Over 6,000 fervent fans gathered at Mega Star Arena KL last night for the much-anticipated 'Noah Menemaniku Concert,' featuring the renowned Indonesian band, Noah.
The concert hall was filled to capacity as attendees eagerly awaited what may be among the last performances by the trio — vocalist Nazril Irham (Ariel), guitarist Lukman, and keyboardist David — before embarking on a well-deserved break.
This could be one of the reasons why many of their fans came in by the droves.
"When we last came and performed here, we thought the concert venue was too small.
"So for this concert, we asked for a bigger one. But looking at all of you now, I think it (the venue) is still small," Ariel joked when addressing the audience after opening the show with three songs.
Kicked off at about 8.50pm, the band opened the concert with Ariel singing 'Topeng', followed by 'Separuh Aku', and 'Diatas Normal'.
Noah treated the audience to an extensive repertoire of 24 songs, including the band's hit numbers including 'Ada Apa Denganmu', 'Tak Bisakah' and 'Mungkin Nanti'.
Malaysian rap star Joe Flizzow also made an appearance as a featured guest artiste when the band performed 'Suara Dalam Kepala' at the two-hour concert.
