KUALA LUMPUR: Super Junior member Kyuhyun was injured after an incident which took place in his dressing room recently.
According to a report on TV Chosun, the 35-year-old artiste whose full name is Cho Kyu-hyun sustained the injury when a woman believed to be in her 30s broke into the dressing room of the musical theatre LG Arts Center in Seoul's Magok-dong, where Kyuhyun was scheduled to perform in the musical Ben Hur.
Soompi reported that the offender carried a weapon, which upon approaching the actor-singer she raised it towards him.
Although he tried to avoid the attack, Kyuhyun was mildly injured.
His agency Antenna issued a statement, which read: "Kyuhyun suffered a minor abrasion on his finger and was treated immediately at the scene."
Meanwhile, The Seoul Gangseo Police Station arrested the woman, who had been booked under the charges of special intimidation.
The investigation is currently underway on how she obtained the weapon.
