KUALA LUMPUR: Tickets for Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza's June 29 concert in Singapore were sold out in less than two hours yesterday.
Konsert Fenomena Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Live In Singapore organiser SAH Entertainment's chief executive officer Sufie Rashid said that they did not expect the tickets to be snapped up in such a short time.
"Thank you to all fans of Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza. You are simply the best," said Akademi Fantasia 12 champion Sufie to Harian Metro Online.
"When we opened, some 4,000 fans queued up online. Two hours later the number had reached 8,000, and the computer system even got jammed."
Sufie thanked Siti and her team for their confidence in his company and promised that the concert would be a "blast" for everyone involved.
"To all Siti fans, we promise to produce a memorable and phenomenal concert."
Siti said in an Instagram post yesterday that she was delighted that ticket sales went on smoothly and speedily.
"This is very encouraging. I cannot wait to meet and greet all of my fans in Singapore in June," she said.
Last month, tickets for Siti's March 9 concert Konsert Sebuah Epitome Saya Siti Nurhaliza were also sold out in two hours.
The concert will be held at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil.
