KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Anzalna Nasir has confirmed that her sister Afifah Nasir is now engaged.
In a Harian Metro report yesterday, Anzalna,36, was quoted as saying that her sister, also an actress, is engaged to a man whom she revealed only as Syed Hariz.
The report said the engagement ceremony between Afifah, 31, and Syed Hariz took place at her parents' house in Kemensah, Hulu Kelang, Selangor on Saturday, and was kept intimate with only family members from both sides of the families in attendance.
"Praise be to God, they officially became engaged yesterday. God-willing, they will proceed to the next phase after this.
"Our family members are grateful that they have found each other, and we find that Hariz is a polite gentleman with a lovely personality. So far, all of us agree that he is a very likeable person, very much alike my husband (Hanif Zaki)," she said.
