#Showbiz: Netizens vow to boycott Aliff and Ruhainies' new drama series

KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial actor Aliff Aziz and actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas are hard at work on the set of their new television drama Terjerat.

The duo who were nabbed for khalwat at a condominium in the federal capital last Saturday were spotted on location in Shah Alam by a Netizen who revealed on TikTok that they appeared calm and professional while filming a scene together.

Aliff and Ruhainies, who were both released on bail following their arrest by the Federal Territories Religious Department (Jawi), were filming that scene while his actress wife Bella Astillah attended the first mention of her application for divorce at the Federal Territories Shariah Court yesterday.

Bella filed for divorce from Aliff on Wednesday.

Many Netizens saw red after viewing the social media photo of Aliff and Ruhainies on location, and vowed to boycott the drama as well as the "despicable adulterers".

"Let us boycott Terjerat. These despicable adulterers have no shame.

"We should give them hell and kick them out of showbiz. Let them 'mampus', " said a netizen.

Bella attended the first mention of her divorce application at the court in Jalan Duta yesterday.

Aliff and Bella were married in 2016 and they have two children aged 4 and 7.
