#Showbiz: Jawi came to my sister's house around 11pm, not 3am, says Risteena Munim

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Risteena Munim says that the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) officers went to her sister's house at around 11pm, and not 3am as some had alleged.

The 34-year-old artiste shared this in an Instagram story she uploaded last night, along with the screenshot of her WhatsApp exchanges between Ruhainies and herself on the night her sister was nabbed by the religious authorities for khalwat with actor Aliff Aziz.

"I was supposed to be at her home to cook and have meals together, but arrived late due to work commitments and traffic congestion.

"When I arrived at 11.30pm, Jawi officers were already there. But it's not 3am," she wrote.

Risteena admitted that it was still wrong for her unmarried sister to be alone with a man inside her home.

"I believe both Ruhainies and Aliff realised their mistake and have already issued their respective apology statements. Who are we to judge?"

Risteena added that she shared this information just because she wanted to clarify some facts, in the hope that this would avoid the situation from getting any worse.

Meanwhile, both Aliff and Ruhainies finally released their official statements on last week's incident via their social media accounts late last night.
