KUALA LUMPUR: "I thought I was in labour just last week, when I went to a Ramadan bazaar," shares singer Shila Amzah on her Instagram recently.
The 33-year-old artiste, whose pregnancy is already in its eighth month, was experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions or 'false labour' pains when she and husband Ubai Zulkefli had just arrived at a bazaar riding a motorcycle.
"Who said Braxton Hicks doesn't hurt?" she wrote in the IG post.
Shila added that she is due sometime around the Hari Raya celebrations and thus explained why she was already feeling 'extreme laziness' and lethargy of late.
While excited to be a new mother again, she admitted as being nervous as she was also looking forward to "a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean section)."
Five years ago, she gave birth to her firstborn, Seth Uwais, via C-section.
She was married to Haris Edraki Elias then, but they divorced in 2022.
Last August, she married social media influencer Ubai.
