KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Shila Amzah, 34, has just welcomed her second child, Rhea Akira Muhammad Ubaidillah at a private hospital in town.
The arrival of Shila's second child was shared on Instagram by her husband social media influencer Muhammad Ubaidillah Mohd Zulkefli or Ubai MZ yesterday.
In the caption to his photo of Shila and himself in the hospital with their newborn baby's face "covered" by an animated flower, Ubai said: "March 9, 2024. My dearest wife has just given birth to our first baby.
"I've cried lots of tears seeing her fighting for her life to bring baby safely out to this world."
Ubai added that he was also sad that his mother Rohani Jamal who died of cancer on July 30 last year could not witness the historic event.
"Thank you God for bestowing this beautiful child on us. We are more than overjoyed with her arrival.
"However, I'm also sad that mum cannot witness the birth of her first grandchild. Dearest mum, we promise to look after our beautiful child and be the best of parents to her."
Shila and Ubai, 26, were married on Aug 5 last year.
She was previously married to Haris Idraki Elias for four years beginning Feb 8, 2022.
They have a son Seth Uwais Haris.
