KUALA LUMPUR: The marital status of actress-turned-businesswoman Irma Hasmie Ibrahim is uncertain following a recent post on social media by her husband allegedly marrying someone else.
Irma's husband of 12 years Redza Syah Azmeer has just uploaded a photo of his recent marriage to an unknown woman on his Instagram account, and it was accompanied by a statement which read: "A new journey for my family, career and future. May God bless us always."
Irma could not be reached for comment, and a visit to her Instagram account revealed that it had not been updated for five days.
Last February, Irma, 42, revealed that her marriage was facing problems but did not elaborate further.
Irma began her acting career in 2005 starring in the romantic comedy Cinta Fotokopi.
Her other well-known films and drama series include Cicak-Man, Diva, Janji Diana, Hooperz and Kasih Alia.
Irma also co-hosted the gameshow Roda Impian and the TV Alhijrah religious programme Assalamualaikum.
