Auditions now open for record label's next girl group

PETALING JAYA: Alternate Records & Talents is seeking fresh faces for its next girl group that will elevate the local music scene.

Established in 2006, Alternate Records & Talents, formerly known as Monkeybone, is a local music and acting talent scouting agency.

As the record label behind homegrown powerhouses like Puteri Khareeza, Marsha Milan and Shiha Zikir, Alternate Records & Talents has elevated the local entertainment industry with award-winning talents, chart-topping music, IP ownership and extensive distribution.

From now until March 8, the record label will be scouting its talents through an online audition.

It will be looking for talents under the following criteria:

- Aged between 18 and 25 years old

- Extraordinary vocal talent

- Compelling stage presence

- Unique personality and charisma

- Dance skills (musical instrument skills are a plus)

Selected talents will have the opportunity to produce original songs and music videos, as well as engage in exciting promotional possibilities, which will include international exposure.

To audition, contestants must record a three-minute performance video that showcases their singing and dancing skills. They will need to upload the video to Instagram or TikTok, and tag @alternate.my_ (Instagram) or @alternate.rt (TikTok).

Once done, they will need to submit their video link via direct message to the label's social media account by March 8.
