KUALA LUMPUR : As of 12pm, locations recorded with unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings has increased to 30 locations, with Banting records the highest reading of 172.
Nilai’s API reading stood at 167 and Port Klang reading was at 163.
Other locations which were in the unhealthy range were Batu Muda and Seremban whose reading was at 162 followed by Capital of Putrajaya at 162.
Meanwhile, another 19 areas were in the moderate range.
An API of between 0 and 50 is good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101 to 200(not healthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy) and 300 upwards (dangerous).
