KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry will be sending a support team including a health and forensic team to Ukraine to assist recovery efforts.
Its minister Datuk Seri Dr S Subramaniam offered his condolences and added that the families of those on board MH17 would need support.
"The families of those aboard MH17 are in deep grief and anxiety, our deepest sympathy to them and sincere prayers. "
Dr Subramaniam added that he had also requested a grief and trauma management and support team to attend to the next of kin and relatives.
"I am told that the UN security council will discuss this in the next couple of days."
