MH17: Smooth ceremony, DPM satisfied

PAGOH:Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he was satisfied with the way the ceremony to return the remains of the victims of MH17 to their final resting place went

“Alhamdulillah (thanks to Allah) everything went smoothly and all the remains arrived at their destinations safely.

“This is a historic moment for all Malaysians, who are united in expressing their sadness and grief for the victims and their families by respecting the minute of silence,” said Muhyiddin.

The deputy prime minister was speaking to the media after attending the funeral of Mohd Ali Md Salim at the Kampung Raja Muslim cemetery here.

Also present were his wife Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and several state executive committee members.
