JOHOR BARU: Johor Darul Ta'azim (JDT) is eyeing to have international football star Fernando Torres as the team's latest addition for the 2016 season.
Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, who is also Johor Football Association president, confirmed they have contacted the Spanish star’s agent.
Torres is currently playing with Italian club side AC Milan.
Tunku Ismail said this after a session with the JDT fans and supporters at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin here today.
Previously, JDT had successfully brought in imported star players such as Simone Del Nero, Daniel Guiza and the Argentine Pablo Aimar.
