Najib attends TKC Old Girls Association dinner

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak tonight attended the Malay Girls College/Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) Old Girls Association dinner.

Also present at the dinner was his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who is also a former student of TKC in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

The dinner aims to raise funds to help TKC students, upgrade and improve facilities at the new campus in Bandar Enstek and organise programmes for the elderly and orphans.

At the event, Rosmah also launched a coffee table book titled LEGACY which contains activities and experiences of former TKC students.

In a short speech after the book's launch, Rosmah said she was proud to be one of the 'products' of TKC, a special institution for female students.

"Wherever I go, including abroad, I always say that I am a former student of TKC," she added. - Bernama
