Stellar performance by Ivory

GEORGE TOWN: Ivory Properties Group Bhd (Ivory) clinched two awards for its properties at the prestigious Southeast Asia Property Awards 2014 in Kuala Lumpur recently.

Its Island Resort Bungalows in Batu Ferringhi was declared the Best Housing Development (North Malaysia), while The Latitude in Mount Erskine won the Highly Commended title in the Best Mid-Range Condo Development (North Malaysia).

The bungalows project in Miami Beach consists of 22 units of either three or four-storey units with broad decks which give stunning vistas of Batu Ferringhi, while The Latitude is a mid-sized condominium in Tanjung Tokong, perched 153m above sea level, and located near popular street food outlets and the heritage enclave.

Ivory executive director Datuk Ooi Chin Loo, described the projects as part of the company’s efforts to build a better world for the future generation.

“The awards have certainly added another two feathers to the cap of Ivory as we celebrate our 15th anniversary this year,” he said.

They are the latest in a series of accolades for Ivory, including The Wave which won the Highly Commended award in the residential high-rise architecture category at the Asia Pacific Awards 2014-2015 recently.

The Southeast Asia Property Awards is part of the Asia Property Awards launched in 2005 which acknowledges the efforts of developments, consultants, architects and designers in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. By Predeep Nambiar
