KUALA LUMPUR: Oriental Holdings Bhd said yesterday it proposed a financial assistance of up to RM100 million to its subsidiary Melaka Straits Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (MSMC). Oriental Holdings, which holds a 51 per cent stake in MSMC, said this was to facilitate “its efficient fund management”. The proposed financial assistance will be funded from Oriental Holdings’ internal reserve, Oriental Holdings said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
