Malaysian Examinations Board lodges police reports on alleged leak of UPSR Tamil and Mathematics papers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Examinations Board (MEB) has lodged police reports alleging that two more Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) papers have been leaked, police said today.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Tajudin Md Isa confirmed that Putrajaya police had received the reports from MEB officials on the leaks, this time involving the Tamil and Mathematics examination papers.

“We will investigate the reports as we have with the previous case,” he said.

On Sept 10, the Education Ministry announced that the Science and English UPSR exams would be postponed to Sept 30, following reports that the test papers were leaked and circulated over social media.

Tajudin said the same team investigating the leaks, led by Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department chief senior assistant commissioner Gan Kong Meng, would be in charge of looking into the latest incident.
