BUKIT MERTAJAM: Two siblings, aged 4 and 2, died after they fell in a two-metre hole near their house in Kampung Pelet yesterday.
In the 5.30pm incident, Muhammaf Shazriel Naufal Rahizal and Nur Shazreen Rahizal were believed to have slipped and fall into the hole, dug to build a house.
They died while being rushed to Hospital Bukit Mertajam (HBM).
Seberang Prai Tengah deputy police chief Superintendent Baharom Abu confirmed the incident.
