Treasure hunt in Taman Negara

KUALA TAHAN: There is a bounty of “treasures” waiting to be discovered at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort here next month.

As part of its 75th anniversary celebrations, the resort is organising a treasure hunt, themed “Cuti-Cuti Treasure Hunt 2014”, from Nov 14 to 16. The inaugural event, with attractive prizes up for grabs, is limited to 25 teams only.

Set within one of the oldest rainforests in the world dating back over 130 million years and the country’s premier national park.

Participants are expected to have a thrilling time as the hunt will be held in the middle of the park that is also home to over 300 species of birds, 200 species of mammals and an estimated 10,000 species of plants.

With the entry fee of RM1,500 per team (of 3 to 4 members), participants will receive two nights’ accommodation, two boat crossings, two breakfasts and one dinner.

Closing date for entries is Nov 1.
