BUKIT MERTAJAM: A 12-year-old boy was detained for allegedly outraging the modesty of a three-year-old girl at a mini market here yesterday.
The boy was said to have allegedly committed the act in a toilet of the mini market in Alma at 11pm.
The boy was later brought to the Central Seberang Prai district police headquarters.
The parents of the boy were seen with police officers at an interrogation room.
Meanwhile, the girl has been brought to the Bukit Mertajam Hospital for a medical examination.
