Maybank Singapore updates mobile banking app

SINGAPORE: Maybank Singapore announced innovative new updates to its Maybank Mobile Banking App, including an array of innovative and exciting new features, which are a first in Singapore.

As part of Maybank’s commitment to bringing seamless banking and innovation beyond its physical presence, this newly updated app, which was developed by award-winning mobile solutions company, Tagit, the bank said in a statement.

This includes the addition of services like quick transfer, direct access to frequently used services via the personalisation feature, and access to the latest Facebook feeds.

The app will allow the bank to expand its touch point reach and offer more banking options and convenience for the benefit of customers who demand fast and easy to use services.

It also hoped that the updates will help to enhance the brand, helping to increase the usage of the Maybank’s products and services.

The app, which was built on Tagit’s Mobeix platform, aims to streamline transactions for Maybank’s mobile banking customers, allowing funds to be transferred quickly and easily using a single password, following a one-time set up.

Owing largely to Singapore’s status as a social media savvy city-state, and to continue to stay relevant to the younger customer segment as well as attract new customers, Maybank has also revealed a feature which allows users to receive the latest Facebook feeds detailing its most recent offers.

As a standard feature of Tagit’s Mobeix platform, users can also bank safe in the knowledge that the app is equipped with enterprise grade security, enabling secure transactions to take place across different devices, mobile operating systems and mobile channels.
