Police hunting for 12 involved in AFF Suzuki Cup match brawl

SHAH ALAM: The police are looking for 12 individuals following a brawl during the AFF Suzuki Cup first leg semifinal match between Malaysia and Vietnam at the Shah Alam Stadium last Sunday.

Selangor CID chief SAC Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the 12 Malaysian supporters are believed to be involved in the incident which injured several Vietnam supporters.

"We are now looking for the 12 individuals to complete our investigation papers. This case is investigated according to Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.

"Those who have any information regarding the incident can contact the nearest police station or investigating officers ASP Chang Sing Kong at 016-7723336 and ASP Mohd Amirul Abdullah at 012-4748870 to assist investigation," he said in a press conference, here, today.
