KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines’ (MAS) frequent-flyer programme, Enrich, has signed an agreement with rentalcars.com which will enable Enrich members to earn triple Enrich Miles for car rental.
In a statement today, MAS said the members could also enjoy flight redemption from oneworld member airlines and Enrich partner’s airlines.
MAS Vice President for Loyalty, Khairul Nisa Ismail, said members who purchased MAS flight tickets could rent a car in their destinations via rentalcars.com and earn Enrich Miles that could be used for flight redemption.
“After Dec 31, 2014, Enrich members will benefit from the ability to earn Enrich Miles with every qualified car rental throughout the year. They can earn two Enrich Miles for every US$1 spent.
“Both companies want to reward our members beyond flying,” she said.
Marketing Director of rentalcars.com, Peter Rooney, said the company was delighted to partner with Enrich to offer simple, transparent and affordable car rental for frequent MAS flyers.
“This partnership allows us to create a seamless transition for customers in booking a flight, renting a car and earning the Enrich miles,” he said.
