KUALA LUMPUR: Four men were remanded for possessing weapons during the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup final at Bukit Jalil Stadium here, yesterday.
Cheras district police chief Assistant Commissioner Chong Kok Sin said the men were remanded starting from today to assist investigation.
“Three men aged between 20 and 26 will be investigated under Section 8 of the Explosive Act 1957 for possession of explosive substances while a 39-year-old man will be investigated under Section 7 of the Corrosive, Explosive and Dangerous Weapon Act 1958 for carrying knuckledusters,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chong said two teenagers aged 17 who were arrested on Saturday for wearing sash with words that insulted the police were released on police’s bail, today.
