MALACCA: Three PLKN camps in Pasir Mas, Gua Musang and Kuala Krai will be used as temporary shelters for flood victims.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the PLKN trainees at the three camps would be transferred to PLKN in neighbouring states.
"We expect the three camps can be used by the flood victims in the next few days," he told reporters after visiting the flood relief collection centre at Terendak Camp near here today.
Present was Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron.
Hishammuddin said a Territorial Army camp in Kuala Krai, the Sungai Durian Camp will also be used as a temporary shelter.
