KUALA PILAH: While schools elsewhere are filled with laughter and cries of Year One pupils, Sekolah Kebangsaan Pasir Ambor near here was eerily quiet.
Only one pupil registered for Year One and Muhammad Daniel Haiqal Abu Hurairah got undivided attention from the class teacher.
He was among only 39 students filling in six classes from Year One to Year Six.
The school is located at Km 5 Jalan Pasir Ambor/Sungai Talan in Juasseh, Negri Sembilan.
The school started off with just standard one to three in the 60s but grew big over the years.
“However, it has never had more than 40 students in a year,” said a teacher who declined to be named.
