TAIPING: Three suspects, who caused the death of their victim during a snatch thief incident at Pantai Remis early January, have been nabbed by police here.
In an early morning raid at Changkat Jering here today, police found a mobile phone and 125 bullets.
The suspects arrested were between 39 and 47 years old.
When contacted, Taiping district deputy police chief Superintendent Ismail Che Isa confirmed the case but declined to comment further.
"We are still investigating the matter," he said.
In the Jan 5 incident, Lai Kwi Lan, 57, died after crashing her motorcycle onto a tree after her handbag was snatched.
At the time of incident, the victim was on her way home at Taman Bintang.
It was reported that the victim had in her dying breath told her children she crashed her machine after her bag was snatched.
