2 men, 1 woman killed in 2 separate car crash

KUALA LUMPUR: Two men were killed while three others injured when the driver of the car they were in lost control and crashed into a road divider at the MRR2, this morning.

In the 4am incident, Kong Li Meng and Foo Jin Hua were travelling in a Honda City with three other passengers before the car rammed into the road divider.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Police investigation and traffic law officer Deputy Superintendent S. Markandan said investigation revealed that the driver had lost control of the vehicle before the crash.

"The two men aged 20 were pronounced dead at the scene," he said.

The three other passengers sustained injuries.

The bodies and injured passengers were sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Meanwhile, a City Hall officer died when her vehicle rammed into a curb near Penchala Link tunnel.

Markandan said the woman, identified as T. Sarasvathy, 38 was pronounced dead at the scene in the 7.55am incident.

"The victim succumbed to her head injuries," he said.

The cases were being investigated for reckless driving.
