IPOH: One woman died while another was injured in a fire that gutted a shophouse here early this morning.
The incident happened about 4.30am at Greentown Mall here.
Ipoh fire and rescue department operations chief P. Samasuvam said they received a distress call about 4.45am.
"When we arrived at the scene, we found that one of the shophouses was burning. We managed to rescue a woman who was injured while another was found dead in the rubble,” he said.
