GEORGE TOWN: A tragic head-on collision at the Air Itam-Balik Pulau road left three seriously injured and one dead.
In the noon incident, Khairul Syakirin Jamaludin, 33, was killed on the spot when the Proton Wira car he was travelling in crashed head on with a Proton Exora.
Khairul’s mother, Norliah Jirin, 63, and his son, Adam Rayyan, five, were seriously hurt.
The driver of the Proton Exora, 30, was also seriously injured.
They were sent to the Penang Hospital for treatment.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
