KEMAMAN: District police chief Superintendant Che Suza Che Hitam was in critical condition after the vehicle he was travelling in involved in a crash at Lpt2 near Cheneh, here last night.
According to a source, the victim who suffered head and body injuries was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan for further treatments.
The source said the victim and his wife were heading to Kuantan during the 8.45pm incident which occurred at KM269.4 of the Lpt2.
"Che Suza was believed to have lose control of his Toyota Hilux and skidded before ramming the road divider," he said.
He said Che Suza's wife escaped with light injuries and also received treatment at the same hospital.
Meanwhile State police chief Datuk Jamshah Mustafa who confirmed the incident said police are investigating the case.
