TAIPING: A total of 13 students on a school bus were forced to evacuate when the bus they were in caught fire at the flyover of Assam Kumbang here.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said a distress call was received at 3.11pm today.
"When we arrived, the engine was 70 per cent destroyed," he said, adding that the cause of fire was still being investigated.
The rescue operation was completed at 4.05pm.
